Each week the "Picture of the Week" page on The Hawk Conservancy's web site holds a single photograph, which represents my personal choice as the one I liked best of those recently received. My choice does not imply or deny technical or artistic merit. It's just the one I liked best. The main subject is birds of prey taken anywhere in the world.

I can't quite hold a candle to the images posted here, but, I do have some stories and pictures that you may be interested in. Currently I volunteer with bird care duties at HawkWatch International, but I spent some time in Mongolia with Kazakh people understanding the Eagle hunting tradition.
